What Budget book looks like

What it does

  • Pots with monthly budget, remainder, bar and small trend line
  • “Per day left” – and a month that may start on payday
  • Carry-over: what is left or missing moves on
  • Shopping and subscriptions book themselves after one tap

Starter templates

On first start you choose what to begin with. Everything can be changed later under “Customize”.

Own household
Six pots from groceries to subscriptions. Shopping list and subscription radar book along.
Family
More pots, one just for the children. Whatever is left carries over to next month.
Student
Small budget, few pots; “per day left” shows whether it lasts until the end of the month.
Month from payday
Your month starts on the 25th, when the money arrives – not on the 1st.

Bundle: Kitchen and pantry

Lasagne for nine: the recipe scaler converts the amounts and puts the times into the kitchen timers. Whatever is missing goes onto the shopping list – together with what the pantry tracker reports as low. After shopping the pantry is green again and the amount is in the budget book.

Bundle: Money under control

The subscription radar shows which contracts renew soon and adds the monthly total to the budget book as fixed costs. Shopping is booked into the right pot after one tap. One glance shows what is left this month.

Bundle: DIY

Measure the room, choose the material: the material calculator finds the cheapest packs, puts them on the shopping list and notes the costs in the budget book.

  • B01

    Recipe scaler

Lasagne for nine instead of four – with three eggs instead of 2.75.

  • A02

    Pantry tracker

One look at the lights replaces looking into every cupboard.

  • B03

    Kitchen timers

Three timers ring differently – and you know without looking that it’s the pasta.

  • B07

    Shopping list

In the shop every item is in the order of the aisles.

  • C01

    Subscription radar

The yearly total of all subscriptions in large digits – and below it, what must be cancelled by when.

  • K01

    Material calculator

    “1 × 10 l and 1 × 2.5 l” – and it’s exactly enough.
